As Summit County real estate ultimately reaches build-out, which prior to the tougher times was expected to happen in less than five years, land availability is slowly diminishing in the area of Breckenridge Colorado real estate.  As of February 2009, there are about only 200 Breckenridge lots for sale in the area.

Prices for available Breckenridge land range from a few million dollars for in-town and ski-area lots.  However, nice lots for Breckenridge homes in the Quandary Village subdivision are a little under $100,000.  These are located less than 10 miles south of downtown Breckenridge real estate and the ski slopes.  Other parts of the surrounding Summit County also provide more land options, including nearby parcels near the towns of Dillon and Frisco, and Keystone and Copper Mountain resorts.
